Collective Action

The rise of the Broligarchy and their integration into authoritarian politics in 2025 has meant that small numbers of people reducing their use of Big Tech products will not be enough. Various non-profit work to resist big tech - show your support

Please sign up to Foxglove's newsletter here, and sign their petitions to resist data centres in the UK, and other big tech excesses. Their voice is heard by the UK government.

Please sign up to Big Brother Watch's newsletter here, and support their petitions and campaigns to resist the increasing surveillance in the UK.

Please sign up to Privacy International's newsletter here, and support their campaigns to e.g. reduce big tech's move into weapons building.

There are many more non-profit organisations working to make tech better - find them listed on our Unite page. Most run on donations so please donate to them.

Large-scale protests and strikes

Black Out The System are regularly organising mass shut down strikes in the US. More details here.

Indivisible are organising further No Kings protests in the US. Find details here and join them. They also have smaller divisions in London and elsewhere in Europe. Given the merging of big tech and far-right politics, these protests are also important to weaken the broligarchy and surveillance capitalism.
